If you are interested in being a Business Support Organization to help one or more of our Service Providers accomplish their mission, thank you for your interest. You and your business can make a difference in Anoka County. We also sincerely believe that as you collaborate, this can be good for and actually add value to your business. /files/My Sample Gallery/slide1_2_Resized_300x225.jpg

In other words, as much as your collaboration will help our community, and our Service Providers, this does not need to be a one-sided relationship.

You, your employees, and your for-profit mission can benefit from your efforts to help non profits help others. If you will take one or more of the following five opportunities, we will show you how this is possible.

Five Opportunities for Business Collaboration with BridgeLink

Note: Each of these is a progressively larger step,

however you do not need to do all of these, nor do you have to do them in order.

Opportunity # 1           Attend a Business Leadership Forum Breakfast

Attending a Business Leadership Forum breakfast is a casual step that allows you to come and see what BridgeLink collaboration is all about. You will hear about how other area businesses are already collaborating with us and you will be exposed to opportunities to collaborate each month. While at the breakfast, you can introduce yourself to BridgeLink Executives, ask questions, and discuss the other following opportunties for collaboration. Click here to register now.

Opportunity # 2           Book an Appointment with BridgeLink Executives

This is a step beyond being aware of the BridgeLink opportunity through a friend, business associate, Business Leadership Forum, or our website. Through a face-to-face appointment we can give you a clearer understanding of what your collaboration options are and what would be a good next step. We would be pleased to present the purpose and programming of BridgeLink to your management or board, or whoever would most benefit from either the big picture or a discussion of very specific service opportunities. We promise that we will tailor the discussion to your interest and objectives.  Please contact Therese Hamel to book an appointment.

Opportuntiy # 3           Select a Starting Point Service Project

After a consultation with our staff or from your attendance at Business Leadership Forum, you may want to select a single service project to see what this is like. We will work with our Service Providers to define a service project that your business can participate in within the coming weeks. This may be a good way to introduce the idea of community service to your team and/or to see what an ongoing relationship with BridgeLink would be like. Please contact Jill Discher to find a Starting Point Service Project that will fit your business.

Opportunity # 4           Participate in our Fall or Spring Serve Day

Twice a year, BridgeLink organizes a concentrated day of community service through our Service Providers. The next opportunities for this will be on April 19, 2008, and  Make A Difference Day, October 25, 2008. You and your business are invited to participate. You will have opportunity to select from many opportunties to help others in our community. Details for these events will be provided well in advance to facilitate your planning. On a Serve Day, you may want to participate in just a single service project or select several different types of projects to provide your employees with the opportunity for meaningful community service. Help us help others by participating in Serve Day! Please contact Jill Discher to see how.

Opportunity # 5           Become a BridgeLink Business Associate

Becoming a BridgeLink Business Associate is the highest level of business collaboration with BridgeLink and its Service Providers. A Business Associate relationship is an optional agreement to use BridgeLink as your company's facilitator of community involvement. Becoming a Business Associate requires prior participation in at least one Serve Day, or similar event, a commitment to ongoing volunteer community service, and a financial investment in BridgeLink for the benefit of the community. We believe that your business will be best positioned to make a difference in Anoka County by becoming a BridgeLink Business Associate. We also believe it is a cost effective solution to ongoing community involvement. And we will make it our business to help your business find the win-win of doing good for others and for your business. Contact Therese Hamel to discuss how to become a BridgeLink Business Associate.
